Size

Images keep their shape and are never made bigger.

Need a photo at an exact size for a website, a profile picture or an online form? This free image resizer changes the dimensions of JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC photos in seconds — by the longest side, by percentage, or to fit inside a width and height you choose.

Resize one image or a whole batch at once. The shape is always kept, nothing is ever stretched, and you can compress the files at the same time. It all happens in your browser, so your photos never leave your device.

How to use it

  1. 1Choose how to resize — by the longest side (1920 px is already selected), by percentage, or to fit inside a width and height.
  2. 2Drop your images onto the box, or tap "Choose images". Each one is resized straight away, and you can see its new size in pixels.
  3. 3Download them one by one, or all at once as a ZIP file.

Questions and answers

Which size should I choose?

1920 px on the longest side is plenty for screens, social media and most websites. 1280 px suits email and chat. For printing, keep the original size — prints need more pixels than screens.

Will my photo be stretched or cropped?

Neither. The shape is always kept. With "fit inside width × height", the image is made as large as possible while staying inside both limits.

Can I make an image bigger?

No — making a photo bigger only adds blur, not detail. Images that are already smaller than the size you choose are left at their own size.

Does resizing make the file smaller too?

Yes, often by a lot, because there are fewer pixels to store. You can also lower the quality, or set a target size like 500 KB, in the same tool.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Resizing happens in your own browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to BoltDeck or anyone else.
