Privacy

The short version

• Your files and text never leave your device. Every tool works inside your own browser. Nothing you type, paste or open is uploaded to us or anyone else.
• No tracking cookies. We don’t use cookies, and we don’t follow you around the web.
• You decide what’s saved. BoltDeck only saves something in your browser when you ask it to, and you can delete it with one click at the bottom of this page.
• No account, no sign-up. We don’t know who you are, and we don’t need to.

Who is responsible

BoltDeck (boltdeck.eu) is run by Digiform, Norway. If you have questions about privacy, contact us at boltdeck@digiform.no.

Your files and what you type in the tools

All of BoltDeck’s tools — such as the QR code generator and the invoice generator — process your data directly in your browser, on your own phone or computer. When you make an invoice, a QR code or a PDF, the work is done by your device, and the result is downloaded straight to it. We never receive, see or store any of it.

What can be saved in your browser

Some tools can remember things for you, but only when you choose it. These are saved in your browser’s local storage on this device. They’re never sent to us, and they’re not cookies.

They stay until you delete them: untick the box, use the button at the bottom of this page, or clear your browser’s site data. If you use a shared computer, don’t ask BoltDeck to remember your details.

Cookies

BoltDeck doesn’t use cookies, so we don’t show a cookie banner. If we add advertising in the future, ad partners may want to use cookies. We will then ask for your permission first, and every tool will keep working if you say no.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages are popular. It doesn’t use cookies or save anything on your device, doesn’t build a profile of you, and only gives us totals (for example, page views per day and which country visits come from).

Hosting and security

The site is delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare has to receive your device’s IP address and basic technical information (such as browser type) to send you the pages and to protect the site against attacks and abuse. Cloudflare processes this on our behalf and may do so outside the EEA, using approved safeguards for international transfers. We don’t use this information to identify you.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to other services, such as accounting software. Those sites have their own privacy policies. If a link is a paid affiliate link, it’s clearly marked.

Your rights

Because we don’t store personal data about visitors ourselves, there’s usually nothing for us to look up, correct or delete — what’s saved in your browser is under your control. You still have the right to ask us about how your data is handled, and to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.no.

Changes

If we change how BoltDeck handles data — for example when advertising is added — we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
