Got photos from an iPhone that end in .HEIC and won’t open on your Windows PC, upload to a website or print at the photo shop? This HEIC to JPG converter turns them into ordinary JPG files in seconds — the format every computer, phone and website understands.
Drop one photo or a whole camera roll. Each one becomes a JPG straight away, turned the right way up, and you can download them separately or as one ZIP. It all happens in your browser, so your photos never leave your device. There’s no sign-up, no watermark and no limit.
How to use it
- 1Drop your HEIC photos onto the box above, or tap "Choose images". JPG is already selected.

Questions and answers
What is a HEIC file?
HEIC (also called HEIF) is the format iPhones and iPads use for photos. It keeps the same quality as JPG in about half the space, which saves storage on your phone. The downside is that many programs, websites and Windows computers still can't open it.
Why can't I open my iPhone photos on Windows or upload them?
Windows needs an extra extension to show HEIC files, and many upload forms, print shops and older apps only accept JPG or PNG. Converting to JPG solves that — a JPG opens everywhere.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The conversion happens in your own browser, on your device. In browsers that can't read HEIC by themselves, such as Chrome, Edge and Firefox, BoltDeck loads a small decoder that also runs on your device. Nothing is sent to BoltDeck or anyone else.
What happens to the photo's location and date?
The new JPG is made from the photo's pixels only, so the EXIF information — GPS location, date and camera details — is not copied over. Good to know before sharing; keep the original if you need that information.
How do I stop my iPhone from saving HEIC?
Go to Settings → Camera → Formats and choose "Most Compatible". New photos are then saved as JPG. Photos you've already taken stay HEIC, so convert those here.
Do Live Photos work?
The still picture of a Live Photo is converted to a JPG. The short video part isn't included.
