Whether you’re a freelancer, run a small business or just need to bill someone once, this invoice generator gets you from blank page to a clean, professional PDF in a few minutes. Add your logo and details, list what you’ve sold, and the totals and VAT are worked out for you. There’s no account to create and nothing is uploaded: the invoice is built right here in your browser, so your figures and your customers’ details stay private.

How to use it

  1. 1Fill in your business details once. Tick "Remember my business details" and they'll be ready next time on this device.
  2. 2Add the customer, the invoice number and the dates. The due date is set 14 days ahead, but you can change it.
  3. 3Add a line for each product or service with quantity and price. Totals and VAT update as you type.
  4. 4Check the preview, then download the invoice as a PDF and send it to your customer.

🛡 Your files stay on your device

Questions and answers

Is the invoice generator really free?

Yes. There's no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many invoices you make. The site is paid for by ads, never by your data.

Where are my details stored?

Nowhere but your own browser. The PDF is made on your device, and if you choose "Remember my business details", they're saved only in this browser. Clearing your browser data removes them.

How should I number my invoices?

Use one unbroken series, such as 1, 2, 3 or 2026-001, 2026-002, and never reuse a number. The tool suggests the next number after each invoice you download, but keeping the series in order is up to you.

Do I need to charge VAT?

Only if your business is registered for VAT. Tick "VAT registered" and set the rate on each line; the invoice then shows VAT per rate and the total to pay. If you're not registered, leave it unticked and no VAT is added.

Is a PDF invoice valid everywhere?

For most freelancers and small businesses, yes. Some countries are moving to mandatory e-invoicing between businesses, where invoices must be sent in a structured format through a network such as Peppol. Check the rules where you and your customer are based — this tool is a template, not accounting advice.
